Inspiring people to learn languages through swimming

Competing in the Relay Competition

The competition gives participants the opportunity of learning the language needed to communicate at International Swimming Events by practicing different language areas.

In “Visiting and Hosting” you learn how to find your way to the European championships, check in at the hotel, get some food at a restaurant and catch a taxi to the pool

In “Socialising” you get talking to swimmers from other European cultures, learn how to start conversations, talk about swimming, tell something about yourself and maybe even make a new friend!

In “Swimming” you can find your way around the pool, discuss equipment and chat about your performance in the races.

In “Meeting cultures” you start to understand the mentalities of your hosts and competitors and feel comfortable in new cultures.
