The Challenge is over and the winner was awarded a trip to the final swimming competitions at the Beijing Olympics.

Finalists in Malaga

Congratulations to the finalists of the Swim the Language race, Madaras Gabor (HU), Menk Kerstin (DE), Deme Zsofia (HU), Tonelli Tatiana (IT) and to the guest participant, Madaras Zsuzsa (HU). From among the language swimmers named above the winner was awarded a trip to the Swimming Finals at the Olympic Games in Beijing.

The language competition is now closed, but you can still dip into some European languages in the virtual training pool and (we hope) be ready for a new Language Swimming Competition to be launched at the World Championship in Rome 2009.

Winner of the Challenge Zsofia Deme received her prize in July 2008.


The finalists competed for the top prize at the Malaga Water Polo championships.
